Needed a new laptop case for business travel, and didn't want to break the bank. The backpack I had been using was hurting my back and awkward to schlepp with me to the office and on travel. Honestly, I was worried as I read the reviews here but was surprised at how useful this bag was for me on my recent business trip. This computer bag has tons of room, fits a 17" laptop and a tablet, as well as tech accessories. The main compartment is very roomy. [Tip: if you are using this for a tech bag, contain accessories (cables, chargers, office supplies etc.) in separate containers/bags before placing them in the main compartment.] Ensure you're not overfilling the main compartment so the laptop section will fit without straining once closed. I was able to pack all of my tech and office gear in the main compartment and a full outfit in a compression travel cube with no trouble. The zippers are sturdy but it is tricky to get them in the locking mechanism. As a plus, you can push the upright case easily to your seat in the aisle of an economy airplane. It fits beautifully in the overhead compartment as well, and there's no shoving things into place. For my fellow ladies here, it looks both professional and feminine (without being girly). The only negative thing I can say is regarding the way it rolls, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. If you're rolling the bag by itself with a moderate amount of weight in it, it moves fine. When empty, it is harder to control and the telescoping handle is somewhat flimsy. Sometimes it seems the wheels have minds of their own and will squiggle around if you're not controlling the movement, even when filled. It works well on smooth surfaces (hotels, airports, etc.). When I added a personal bag on top of this case, it was a little more awkward to move. I sometimes found it easier to just tilt the bag and drag it behind me on 2 wheels instead of moving as an upright spinner bag.Hope this long review helps others who may be on the fence about purchasing. For the price point, it exceeded my expectations. Is it perfect? Of course not...if I were traveling a lot and needed a more high performance bag, I would upgrade to a sturdier option. But for those of us who aren't willing to spend $250 on a laptop bag, or for those of us who only travel a few times a year, this is a perfectly serviceable item.
